Just saw a woman make a joke post that said "If I see a girl, I kiss her". And many bloggers reblogging it, tagging it as "wlw culture", etc. And I can't help wondering how different it would look if a man was to make such a post. He'd be accused of preying on women, sexually harassing them, even if he'd say it's just a joke. I'm not saying the OP in this particular case is a predator, but she's definitely making light of rather inappropriate actions. But there was another case, where a lesbian was predatory, she found a photo of an attractive women from Pride and made her Instagram followers search for her, and it was seen as romantic rather than creepy. Why does the society let women get away with preying on other women? Some can blame pseudo progressivism of the liberals, but I think the true cause of it lies within the traditionalist perception of women as weaker and purer, of fights between women and female abusers being a matter of jokes. But whatever the cause is, creepy and objectifying attitude to women shouldn't be a part of wlw culture. Or any culture.
